Characterised by a pervasive pattern of grandiosity and self-importance, need for admiration, and lack of empathy (or displaying false empathy), people with narcissistic personality disorder overestimate their abilities and inflate their accomplishments, often appearing boastful and pretentious, whilst correspondingly underestimating and devaluing the achievements and accomplishments of others. A symptom of this character is to get very aggressive when challenged, especially concerning character armouring attacks.
Everyone has character armour, and it is the chronically embedded narcissistic defence mechanism. The more you satisfy yourself to feel better, the more embedded it becomes.
Take a look at your peers, and see their ridiculous expression of wealth. They are agents to make you work harder and to feed you with a destructive way of thinking. Why do you think they are paid so well, and why do you enjoy it so much?!
