The taking of a singular crowd member, and by crowd member I mean someone educated in a crowd, and who continues to draw identity from a large, or small crowd in fact, by means of social media or physical socializing, and diverting that individual towards dealing with all unconscious baggage and freeing them from the need to define themselves by the crowd at all.
You can check this part of psychology by being honest with yourself concerning this question. Do I ever use the collective term "we" when talking about any other people than your family? Perhaps as a football or other sports follower? Or workmates and friends? As there is only one point of view you can truly represent, try to form a habit around using the term "one". It isn't smug. It isn't arrogant but it does require that you understand what this truly implies and that when others label it as smug or snobby. You are just talking about yourself as though it were an external entity because let's face it, the real you is silently observing all of this happen like a play before your nameless consciousness. The object you is called by your name. But you are truly the subject.
